Something infected the majority of the earth's population a few weeks ago, and now they're all like some insane pod people who claim to only want to make everyone happy and content.

But it's also not unlike an "out of the frying pan, into the fire" type of situation, when thinking about all how this place likes to fuck with people.

i guess it does sort of sound like a bad "would you rather" question.
i'd say that we have superheroes on our side, at least, but i've been told that doesn't mean too much, here.

Superheroes? As in cape and cowl, seventeen-pack abs, faster-than-a-speeding-bullet superheroes?

the very same (though i can't vouch for the abs).
there's apparently a group of them here called the avengers. maybe some others, too, but i'm not sure.
